In the refurbishment of a South Yarra penthouse, Victoria Carpets provided the foundation for underfoot simple inner city sophistication.
After thirteen years as a rental, the apartment was transformed into a refined retreat for its owners, with the carpet playing a central role in softening and elevating the interior.
The chosen carpet, Elmview in 50/Neptune, grounds the living spaces, balancing the strength of American Oak joinery and stone with a layer of warmth and tactility. Its understated design complements the crafted detailing throughout — from sliding timber screens to custom cabinetry — while offering comfort underfoot that speaks to everyday elegance.
More than a surface finish, Elmview defines zones within the open-plan layout, creating a sense of intimacy around the fireplace and extending the feeling of home across newly reimagined spaces.
